Basic Phenomena Laboratory data
"Basic Phenomena
Laboratory"
The Basic Machine Phenomenon Laboratory was
created in 2009 by making a room measuring 3 x 3 m located in the DE building.
Prior to the existence of the Basic Phenomenon laboratory, the implementation
of the Basic Phenomena Practicum was carried out in two laboratories,
including: Impact Jet Practicum and Flash / Fire Point practicum carried out at
the Energy Conversion Laboratory, while the Bending, fatigue and Forging
practicum were carried out in the Production Laboratory. The equipment used
refers to the fluid mechanics structure, heat transfer and material strength
mechanics.
The Phenomena Laboratory was established with
the aim of meeting the needs of students in the application of basic physics,
basic fluid mechanics, basic heat transfer and basic fuel science. As a basis
before carrying out the next practicum. Operationally the Basic Phenomena
Laboratory began in 2009 with the implementation of practicum by 2008
personnel. The practicum supervisor is a mechanical engineering lecturer and is
accompanied by a laboratory technician. In 2010, 2 students began recruiting
first assistants, and this has continued until today.
VISION: Laboratory of Basic
Phenomenon of Machines as a center for development and training as well as the
application of supporting basic sciences in the field of machinery such as
Structural Statics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Vibration, and Heat Transfer,
which will later be applied by experiments or practicum.
MISSION: Helping students
improve and develop basic engineering disciplines through:
Implementation of basic machine phenomena
practicum in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Research
services in the field of mechanical engineering
Organizing training aimed at students /
related agencies.
PRACTICUM SERVICES
The Laboratory of Basic Phenomena of Mechanical Engineering at Udayana University carries out a basic phenomenon practicum which is one of the compulsory courses of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Udayana University with the code MKB 7003 with a weight of 1 credit. Practicum is held 2 (two) times a year, namely in Semester Odd and Semester Even. Can be taken with the following conditions:
1. Active Students
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Udayana University.

RESEARCH AND TESTING
SERVICES
The Laboratory of Basic Phenomena of Mechanical Engineering, Udayana University provides services in the form of borrowing and using inventory for research and testing of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students from Udayana University and from other universities. With the provision of: 1. There must be a Research
Permit that has been signed by the Head of the Department or the Secretary of
the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Udayana University and the Research /
Testing Advisor. 2. The Research Permit is
given to the Head of Laboratory and Laboratory Assistant for Basic Phenomenon
of Mechanical Engineering Department, Udayana University, no later than H-7
before the research begins. 3. Researchers are required
to fill out the Inventory Borrowing Form and submit it to the Laboratory
Assistant no later than D-7 before the research begins with a copy of KTM. 4. Researchers are required
to maintain laboratory cleanliness before and after the research. 5. Research is served on working days and hours, Monday - Friday, 07.30 - 16.00 WIB and must be accompanied by a laboratory assistant or laboratory assistant. For other items and those mentioned above, it
