Basic Physics Laboratory Data
"Basic Physics Laboratory"
The Basic Physics Laboratory is an important part of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Udayana University. The Basic Physics Laboratory is one of the service laboratories that organizes practicum activities related to the basic science of physics. This laboratory is managed by the head of the laboratory who is also a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program at Udayana University, assisted by technicians and graders from selected students of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Udayana University. Administratively, the Basic Physics Laboratory is under the Mechanical Engineering Study Program of Udayana University.
The Basic Physics Laboratory organizes Basic Physics practicum activities for third semester of Mechanical Engineering Student at Udayana University. Currently, the practicum being carried out is a Hook Law and a Friction Force practicum.
During the practicum, students must obey the existing rules and follow the practicum rules. Students of the third semester of the Joint Preparation Stage are required to download the modules available at the Google Classroom and OASE, complete preliminary assignments, report experimental data and make a final report on the practicum. Each group is guided by an assistant who will then be guided by a supervisor who comes from a permanent lecturer at the Mechanical Engineering Study Program of Udayana University.
The Basic Physics Laboratory focuses on the application of the basics of physics which is expected to be the main provision and scientific foundation for all students who take practicum at the Basic Physics Laboratory.
The Basic Physics Laboratory is also open to the public, such as visits from among colleges or schools. In addition, the Basic Physics Laboratory implements the K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) system.
