Production Process Laboratory data
"Production Process
Laboratory"
The Mechanical Engineering Production Process Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University can be used to serve practicum students and can also serve the research community to conduct research in the field of production processes. Most of the existing tools and machines are still functioning properly and some are damaged. Production Process Laboratory services emphasize the forming process by means of sharpening or without sharpening. Production Process Laboratory as a center for development and training as well as the application of supporting basic sciences in manufacturing and machinery which will later be applied by experimentation. The scope of practicum activities carried out in the laboratory is the lathe process, the scrap process, the welding process, the driling process, and the bench work process. The tools available in the production process laboratory include cutting saws, plate rolling machines, welding machines, turning machines, forging machines, grinding milling machines, plate bending machines, milling machines, boring machines, scrap machines, and plate cutting machines.
VISION :
Production Process Laboratory as a center for development and training as well as the application of supporting basic sciences in manufacturing and machinery which will later be applied by experimentation.
MISSION :
Helping students improve and develop basic mechanical disciplines through:
1. Implementation of the Production Process practicum in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
2. Research
services in the field of mechanical engineering
3. Implementation
of training targeting students / related agencies.
4. Research
development center for lecturers and students in the field of technology.
Purpose
1. Students can improve their ability to compete professionally in carrying out the learning process, which is related to improving the quality of the learning process results and accelerating the graduation rate.
2. Students
can apply the knowledge gained in lectures (theoretical) into practical
activities, which will be useful after the students graduate and work in the
field.
Practicum Services
Udayana University's Mechanical Engineering Production Process Laboratory carries out a practicum which is one of the compulsory courses of the Udayana University Mechanical Engineering Department. Practicum is held every semester, 2 (two) times a year, namely in Odd and Even Semesters.
Practicum carried out:
1. Lathe process practicum
2. Practicum
secrap process
3. Welding
process practicum
4. Practicum
for the Driling process
5. Practicum
work process bench.
Research And Testing Services
Udayana University's Mechanical Engineering Production Process Laboratory provides services in the form of borrowing and using inventory for research and testing by S1, S2, and S3 students from Udayana University and as well as from other universities with existing provisions.
