Curriculum Workshop, Laboratory Management and UNUD Mechanical Engineering Research Master Plan

On Thursday & Friday, July 21 & 22 2016, a workshop on Curriculum, Laboratory Management and Research Master Plan of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Udayana University with Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng who is a professor of FT. UI, as well as the director of education at the University of Indonesia and Ir., Made Suarnata who is the Chief Engineering Officer of Oberoi Hotels. The workshop activity was chaired by Dr. Wayan Nata Septiadi, ST, MT aims to conduct a review of the UNUD Mechanical Engineering curriculum related to the KKNI curriculum, aspects of local culture in relation to the Vision and Mission of the Department and the Mechanical Engineering Study Program environment, most of which are in the Tourism Industry. Besides this activity also aims to discuss the laboratory governance system and RIP to produce a guideline and reference regarding the laboratory governance system. and RIP as a reference for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

This activity was attended by approximately 100 participants from stakeholders, alumni, lecturers, employees, technicians, and students. Stakeholders that were invited came from several tourism industries, Indonesia Power, Public Works Agency (PU), Disnaker, Disperindag, Hospitals, Automotive Industry, and other related industries. The alumni who were brought in were representatives of alumni from the class of 1984 to 2005.
