Innovation for students and lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering towards the Digitalization of Gunaksa Village

With a sincere spirit of service to the Community and Village from PPK Ormawa HMM, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University under the guidance of Mr. Dr. Ir. Wayan Nata Septiadi, ST., MT finally Saturday, 14 October 2023 at Banjar Nyamping, Gunaksa Village, Mr. Regent of Klungkung, represented by the Head of the Office of Community and Village Empowerment, Population Control and Family Planning, Klungkung Regency, launched the SIGUNA Application. Mr. Regent of Klungkung who should have launched the Gunaksa Village SIGUNA application directly because suddenly there were other activities, finally the launching process was handed over to the Head of the Klungkung Regency Community and Village Empowerment, Population Control and Family Planning Service.




The launching activity was attended by the Regional Research and Innovation Agency, Mr. Sub-District Head, Dawan Resot Police, Danramil Dawan, Chairman and secretary of PII Klungkung Branch, Regency Digital Ambassador, Mr. Perbekel, Village Secretary, KBD, Village Head of Gunaksa Traditional Village, Gunaksa Village BPD, STT Village Gunaksa, Gunaksa Village PKK, community representatives, village digital cadres and youth digital cadres. Representatives from Udayana University, namely from UPKP, Ormawa PPK Reviewer, Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Ormawa PPK supervisor, Engineering and Information Technology Student Association.




The launch of this application is a form of legality for the digital-based application of the Gunaksa Village service SIM which is officially used by the people of Gunaksa Village. The Regent's hope is that this application can become a influencer or perhaps be cloned for the development of services in other villages in Klungkung district. Through the Head of the Department, it was also conveyed that the Regency certainly really hopes that there will be the development of digital-based innovations like this initiated by universities, both from students and academic circles, which will later be able to provide change and have a significant impact on the development of the Village.


At the end of the launching event, there was also a symbolic handover of the SIGUNA application to the Regent (who represented) and from the Regent to Mr Perbekel as a symbol that the SIGUNA application officially became the right of Gunaksa Village and could be used to provide services in Gunaksa Village.
